Branding A Start Up Business

If you’re creating a start-up business, it’s important to not rush branding. You need to think about the type of customers you’re looking to attract, and you need to know how you want your business to be recognised.

With the all important logo design, it’s important to think about a whole lot more than colours and typography, but whatever ideas you have in your head it has to relate to your target audience, but it also needs to be contemporary and instantly recognisable. A logo is just one aspect of branding, and one day it is likely to be on your packaging, your social media accounts, blogs, websites and perhaps even delivery vehicles, so you need to make sure it’s right.

It’s fair to say that this is not always easy for start-up businesses and you may have to develop your brand over time; starting off simple and making tweaks as you develop. You will then be able to express your individuality and raise brand awareness across all of your marketing channels.
